I have a 2005 b6 s4 with approximately 130,000 miles. I’m having a starting issue. This doesn’t happen every time but I’ll push in the clutch, turn the key and nothing happens. All electronics are working and the engine is not trying to turn over. I can hear the fuel pump. Sometimes I’ll wait five minutes and try again and it starts. Sometimes I’ll try several times and nothing happens. After multiple attempts the fuel pump doesn’t prime any more and I’ll just leave it for a week or two and then it might start. Any ideas? I’d be very grateful for any input.

    Thank you!

Rob this sounds like its likely to be a starter or ignition switch issues.
