During the process of trying to dyno our stock MK8 GTI we found the simple steps required to put a MK8 GTI onto a Dyno.
These are the steps we took to resolve the fault on the dash to "Engine speed max. 3800 rpm".
Turn on the ignition
Turn on the Hazard Lights
Pump the Accelerator Pedal 5 times
Start vehicle (once deactivation notifications come up in instrument cluster)
*NOTE - If you do not start the car quickly after the deactivation notices, we have found the dyno mode will toggle back off. If this happens you should repeat the process.

Hi! Watched all your videos on YouTube, great stuff! I have a 2022 GTI SE manual transmission. Installed the JB4 and set it on map 3. VW clutches are notoriously weak. Is map 4 ok for the clutch or should I leave it in map 3? Thanks! On my way to Chipotle
