Most commonly the failure of your N80 valve will result in a "Check Gas Cap" Light. This is due to the fact that the this Evap Purge Valve is not working properly. The N80 valve controls the amount of fuel vapors that are sent back to the engine to be burned. It is also possible for this part to get stuck open causing a vacuum leak. This leak may also lead the vehicle to believe that the gas tank as a vapor leak setting the "Check Gas Cap Light".
