The strut bushing is a rubber mount that sits between the front strut and the body of your VW or Audi model. This part is the will take a beating over time and become worn under normal use. This will often be accelarated by lowered or tracked vehicles. Generally a worn strut bushing will likely result in squeaking or knocking from from the front of the vehicle. The upper strut bearings mount between the upper strut bushing and the strut of your VW or Audi. The strut bearing allows the struts to smoothly twist as you turn your steering wheel.
