HIGH/LOW TORQUE FILES
IE High Torque ECU calibrations maximize power gains throughout the entire powerband which quickly exceeds the torque limitations of the factory DSG calibration (auto trans) or the stock clutch (manual trans) that leads to clutch slipping. Stage 1 and Stage 2 files include optional Low Torque files for vehicles with stock DSG tune or stock clutch. Both high and low torque files are included and can be switched between as often as you like. High Torque files require the additional purchase of a DSG transmission tune to reliably take advantage of the intense power.
IE TRUEFLEX E85 Tune
IE's TrueFlex unlocks the flexibility to run full E85 down to 91 octane gas and any mix in between on a single tune without the need to reflash the ECU. IE's software engineers and calibrators have developed our own advanced TrueFlex calibration, allowing the ECU to safely adjust for ethanol content down to the exact percentage in real-time. This powerful programming brings the ease and confidence to fill up at the pump and make the most power available from your fuel choice without having to drain, verify blends, or reflash the ECU. TrueFlex is currently only available for 2015-2018 IS38 files, stage 1 & 2 support and 2019+ model years are coming soon.
E30 BLEND
The 2.0T TSI EA888.3 factory direct injection fuel system without IE TrueFlex supports the power from a maximum blend of ethanol to E30. This E30 blend is a mix of at least E70 with regular pump 91/93 fuel of 2:1. To run this fuel safely, the blend must be verified using a testing kit or aftermarket fuel sensor. Although E30 blend tune is perfectly safe to run on the factory engine, IE does require an HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) upgrade. Upgrading the HPFP ensures there will be enough fuel to run reliably at all elevations and climate conditions. This also provides an extra safe guard against lower than advertised ethanol content at the pump.
