Ignition coil electrical connectors are commonly broken on VW and Audi engines. These connectors have a release tab located at the back of the connector which allows them to be unplugged. Often times dirt can build up between the connector making them very difficult to remove. When this happens its often believed the latch is stuck causing users to push harder on the release tab until it breaks.
