When purchasing this cable you need to either purchase software or already have software installed on your vehicle.  If you purchase the cable now and plan to purchase software later a much more complicated process will be required which requires control module identification.

Once this cable has been activated it will not be eligible for return. The cable is locked to the vehicle's VIN upon activation and the process can not be reverted.
