This upgraded clutch kit is put together using all factory parts. The TTRS pressure plate is a heavy duty unit and can hold up to 430lbft of torque. Using this clutch will allow you to retain the factory dual mass flywheel, but get the clamping force you need for an upgraded vehicle.
This setup is best used for modified MK8 GTIs which are still used as a Daily Driver. Keeping your Dual Mass flywheel will prevent the additional noise from a single mass flywheel, and factory like engagement.
NOTE: This TTRS pressure plate will need to be modified to fit the flywheel. This requires drilling larger holes in the pressure plate to allow the flywheel dowl pins to fit. This TTRS pressure plate also includes a TTRS clutch in the same box with it. You should not use this clutch disc as it is not correct for your vehicle. The TTRS Clutch Disc should be discarded.
