This is the most current Version of this diverter valve (DV) which is the most heavy duty OEM VW Audi DV available. This part number was recently changed from 06A145710N to this P valve. This was often prevously called the VW or Audi "710 N" DV. Make sure you are installing the latest revision of this diverter valve on your VW or Audi engine.
This is a fault that is commonly associated with the Diverter or Turbo Recirculation Valve being bad on VW and Audi 1.8T Engines
16795 -Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
The most simple way to check this is to use a vacuum pump on the small vacuum port at the top of the valve. Once this is done you will know if the valve will hold a vacuum allowing the piston to operate as it is intended. Fits All 1.8 Turbo engines
