This 3 way vacuum hose with check valve connects to the intake manifold, the evap system solenoid valve (N80) and the valve cover. Sometimes the check valve in this vacuum hose assembly may fail on 2.0T FSI engines causing a check engine light. This will often result in an Evap leak fault and could possibly cause an engine vacuum leak. While the N80 valve is a much more common failure this part should be checked to ensure it is working.
