This hatch boot prevents water from leaking into the vehicle where the harness comes from the hatch and into the roof of a MK7. This boot can often be broken when installing the LED tail light harness, which requires running wires from the outside to the inside of your lights. Replace your MK7 Hatch boot to ensure you dont have water leaks on your vehicle.
This boot applies to both the Drivers and Passenger Side of your MK7
Note: When installing the drivers side boot, the rear spoiler must be removed. We advise purchasing the spoiler clips as its possilble they may break during removal of the spoiler. We also recommend having double sided adhesive, to reattach the vertical trims on the rear glass.
